Combine the personal attention of an instructor with the flexibility of online learning. Courses have virtual sessions and defined start and end dates. All materials are provided online. Review the Schedule for specific session times.

New working environments and the arrival of flexible workspace has changed the way commercial real estate professionals evaluate office building development projects. This course immerses you in the development of a suburban office building during two 90-minute online sessions.

Using a case study, you will explore office building development from the proposal through the completed project and financials. The case study is structured on the Real Estate Development Matrix developed by Daniel Kohlhepp, Ph.D., of the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.

You will also learn to utilize the CCIM Development Specialty Track's Direct Cap & Spread Analysis process, as well as the Maximum Building Size Estimator and the Retail and Office Proforma. All spreadsheets will be available for you to use in your own work after the course.

While the course is designed as an elective within the CCIM Development Specialty Track, there are no restrictions on who can attend.  Students need only the desire to further their knowledge and practice of real estate development.
